History of Lake Village, Nevada

Douglas County, Nevada, home of Lake Village, was formed November 25, 1861 prior to Statehood and was named for Stephen Arnold Douglas a US Orator and Statesman.  Lake Village is a Planned Unit Development began construction in 1970, in the State of Nevada. The HOA was incorporated as a non-profit and presides over the maintenance, management, architectural control and preservation of the exterior of the units as well as the common areas. September 2010 the HOA’s website committee approved taking the Lake Village HOA website live providing access to weather reports, local construction, meeting information, photos and local news events.
